The following people can apply for a visa in Ankara:

• Turkish citizens that have a residency in the following cities. Citizens living in other cities than these should apply at our General Consulate in Istanbul.
  

• Georgian citizens (resident in Georgia or residents in the Consular Region of Ankara)
  

• Azerbajani citizens (resident in Azerbajan).

• Starting from the 1st of June 2011 residents in the Iraqi provinces of: Dohuk, Erbil and Suleymaniye (only in these three provinces). It will be necessary a document certifiying the residence in these places.
  

• Holders of a valid and in force residency permit in Turkey with a validity of at least 6 months and resident in the Consular Demarcation of Ankara.

The application fee is as follows:

Regardless of duration or number of entries. This amount is only payable in this currency, US dollars and Euros will NOT be accepted.

No previous appointment is needed to apply for a visa.

Turkish special, service and diplomatic passports don't need a visa for stays up to 90 days.

Aplications must be made personally no application will be accepted neither by post, fax, courier nor by any other means. It is not possible to apply through a Travel Agency.
